Francis Lucas Nyalali
The HON. FRANCIS LUCAS NYALALI has been the Chief Justice of Tanzania since 1977. He is the longest serving Chief Justice in the Commonwealth and has been elected recently as an Honorary Bencher of Lincoln’ S Inn, London. He was in London following a visit, with five Tanzanian judges, to the Nordic countries and Germany studying constitutional law. (TA 50 1995)
